What lives on your device

• Translations you have downloaded for offline reading
• A local cache of recent reading, notes, and saved verses
• Your sign-in token

If you delete the app, this local data goes with it.

What lives on our servers

• Your account record (email, sign-in method, display name)
• Your saved verses, notes, plans, and reading progress
• Your Ask history (until you clear it)
• Aggregated, anonymized usage analytics
• Crash logs

How long we keep it

• Active account: as long as your account is open
• After you delete your account: removed within 30 days, with backups rolling off within 90 days
• Crash logs and analytics: up to 12 months in aggregated form
• Records we are legally required to keep (tax, anti-fraud): kept as long as the law requires

Who we work with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Leni. Each one is contractually bound to use your data only to deliver the service we pay them for.
