What we use and why

Strictly necessary. We use a small set of cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and load the app. The app will not work properly without these.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count how many people use which features. This helps us prioritize fixes and new work. Analytics data is aggregated and tied to a randomly generated device ID, not to your name or email.

Crash reporting. When the app crashes, we collect a technical report so we can fix the bug. These reports do not include the contents of your notes or prompts.

What we do not use

• We do not use advertising cookies
• We do not use third-party retargeting pixels
• We do not sell or share data with ad networks

Mobile advertising identifiers

On iOS we respect your App Tracking Transparency choice. If you decline tracking, we do not use your advertising identifier.

On Android, you can reset your advertising ID or opt out in Settings → Google → Ads at any time.

How to opt out

• In the app: open Settings → Privacy and turn off Analytics
• On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• On Android: Settings → Google → Ads
• In your browser (for our website): use your browser's privacy or do-not-track controls

Changes

If we add or remove a cookie or tracker, we will update this page and change the effective date.
