This policy explains how AI is used inside Leni, what it does not do, and how we treat your prompts.

The line we will not cross

We do not sell your data. Ever. Your prompts, conversations, notes, and personal content are not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. We do not use them to train third-party AI models.

What AI does inside Leni

Leni uses AI for a few specific jobs:

• Ask. You can ask questions about a verse or passage and get a short, plain-English answer that points back to Scripture.
• Summaries. AI can produce short summaries of chapters or readings to help you orient before you read.
• Search assist. AI helps match natural-language questions to verses and topics.
• Reflection prompts. AI generates daily reflection prompts based on the passage you are reading.

What AI does not do

• It is not a pastor, counselor, doctor, or lawyer
• It does not replace Scripture or your church community
• It does not make decisions for you
• It does not have a soul, an agenda, or a relationship with God

The AI is a study aid. Treat it the way you would treat a study Bible's footnotes: useful, but not the final word. Always read the verses it cites for yourself.

Where prompts and responses go

When you use Ask, your question is sent to an AI model provider that we have a contract with. That provider processes the question to generate a response and then returns it to your device. Under our contract:

• They cannot use your prompts to train their general models
• They cannot share your prompts with anyone outside the contract
• They delete prompts on a short retention schedule
